The Elusive Scribe

I love to write. This has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a kid. I love to imagine different scenarios when I was a kid and I’ve attempted to write them down on scraps of paper. It was during those times that I’ve figured out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and that is to write everything that comes in my mind.

I am not a professional writer nor do I have any background in literature or creative writing. I am simply a person who learns through reading books and attempts to write over and over again no matter how many lines I’ve scratched out or dozens of notebooks I’ve used up. I just love to see words appearing right before my eyes forming a coherent thought that takes me to a whole new world.

My works may not be as great as the hundreds of great poets and authors out there, but it pleases me to share with you the written words that came from my own imagination. You may love them or hate them it really doesn’t matter to me. After all, I just wanted to share a piece of me here.

  1. Hello,
Poetry is best in my opinion when it is not burdened with theory, when it comes straight from our deepest part and as you rightly say when it comes out pouring with no other reason but to be and to be shared. So don’t worry about not having studied poetry, let it flow. Best. Catherine

  2. Thank you for reading my humble poetic offerings – like you, I love to write and always find myself returning to the written word in some form or another – never give up

    • Thank you for dropping by as well. πŸ™‚ I won’t give up this passion of mine now that I’ve started writing again. I hope I can get to read more of your works in the future. πŸ˜‰

  3. Hi again!
If you check out my blog for today when you get a chance I left you an award. I hope you like it! As I said to others it’s up to you what you do with your award (whether to display or not / pass on or not), the point is I want to say my thank-you for your wonderful blog!
Hope you’re having a beautiful day πŸ™‚ XOXO

  4. Dear The Elusive Scribe,
I’m sorry I haven’t followed through with any of the awards you listed me in. I actually lack the followers and people I follow to actually do them. But really, I’m flattered that you like my poems.. If you can call them that. They’re more like thought trains.. Anyway, thank you for the nominees.

  5. Hello!
Thank you so much for the follow. I believe we are in the same boat, driven by a passion for writing and no formal training at all! (woo! πŸ™‚ )
I really appreciate the encouragement. And I’m looking forward to exploring your blog as well! πŸ™‚

    Your friendly neighborhood Cookier Monstah
